Marriage Family Counseling

Marriage Inc. has a limited amount of funds available to couples who need marital counseling beyond what can be provided through a marriage mentor. While Marriage Inc. will not underwrite the full amount, we will provide financial assistance to couples who need it. All funds will be paid directly to the professional providing the counseling. Diana Bartling

A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Governors State University. She has over 13 years of experience in   helping families find creative solutions to their problems. Diana is a member of the American Counseling Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Dawn Broers, MSW, LCSW
With 12 years of experience in helping clients of all ages, in many different situations, she brings knowledge and perception that assists clients not only to resolve presenting issues, but to become better emotionally equipped to cope with future issues as well.

Dawn utilizes a number of different treatment modalities and therapies with her clients. Cognitive-Behavioral, Reality and Narrative Therapies are utilized most often with clients in marriage, individual and family counseling. Her areas of expertise lie in treating mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, women’s issues, and self-destructive behavior. Gaining perception, building safe relationships, empowering oneself through the thought change process, and successfully resolving negative experiences are often goals of the treatment process. She prides herself in the warmth, humor, and trust that becomes part of her relationships with clients and considers it a personal and professional honor to partner with you as you journey through some of the most difficult times in your life.

Laura DeYoung

 Responding to life’s many unique situations, stresses and challenges can be difficult, even overwhelming, at times. Through helpful insight and awareness, Laura desires to assist others in gaining a renewed understanding of their current situation and, more importantly, develop strategies to effectively deal with current and future life circumstances. She places a high value on the worth of each individual and brings a sense of warmth and compassion to each counseling session. Laura is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 9 years of experience.

John Dodds

People of all walks of life utilize John for their counseling and coaching needs.  Jon cares deeply toward all people.  His patient, yet honest feedback offers clients ample opportunity to experience personal growth.  In recent years, Jon has added trauma work to his repertoire.  He is a trained and certified EMDR therapist and is highly effective in working with people who have been traumatized.  Visit John Dodds’ website. 

Dale Goodman

A Pastoral Counselor with over 25 years of biblical counseling experience.  He has a Masters in Biblical Counseling and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Ministries.  Dr. Goodman has helped many couples work through difficult marital issues.  His approach is biblically based, caring and practical. Yomi Nichols MS,LCPC
